VILLAGE OF ANGELICA

NEW YORK

POLICE DEPARTMENT

The Village of Angelica offers police protection to its residents through a local police department as well as County Sheriff and New York State Troopers. Residents access the police for emergency situations through the 911 dispatch system operated by Allegany County at the new offices on Route 19 south of the Village of Belmont.Village police offer special assistance to the residents especially during high traffic times such as when the Allegany County Fair is in session and during Heritage Days in August.

In July 2001 the Angelica Police Department started undergoing a major overhaul of services as a new Officer in Charge was appointed and new patrol Officers were hired to staff the department. Robert Brooks is now the Officer in Charge.

For non-emergency calls you may contact the Village of Angelica Police Department at 585-466-3737.
