The Village of Angelica is a Municipal Electric Company community. As such the rates are generally less than those charged in areas served by the regular utilities. The Village however has an excellent working relationship with those utilities. The Village is a member of the MEUA. Information on that organization is available at www.meua.org

Procedure to follow for all new electric customers:

• Must fill out service application at the Village Office.
• Deposit paid prior to service is $200.00

Electric Meters are read and billed monthly.

The Villages electric rates are as follows:

Residential Customers:

• Customer Charge: $3.50
• All year Energy Charge, per kwh .0422

Commercial Customers:

• Customer Charge: $6.80
• All year Energy Charge, per kwh .0622

Large Commercial Customers

• Customer Charge: $0
• All year Demand Charge per KW $7.30
• All year Energy Charge, per kwh .0299

The Village is subject to fluctuation due to available energy from the Grid and the market conditions during low flow in some cases this may effect the costs to Customers. For more information on this please contact the clerk.
