| Annual Fireman's Auction | November 8 | 7:00 PM | Angelica Fire Hall, West Main Street | The Fire Department accepts donations of house hold items, tools, or anything that we can sell at the auction. Saturday during the day we can pick up stuff that is donated to us. People wishing to donate items can call 466-7436 or 466-7857 prior to the 10th. Please call 466-7621 for pick-ups on the day of the Auction. We do not accept tires or appliances. We also do raffles, so if anyone wants to donate a new item that would make a good raffle, we will accept. This is one of the Hose Company's major fund raisers every Fall. We appreciate the public's support of this event in the past. Auctioneers are Scott Burt and Sons. |

| Angel Station Postage Cancellation | December 5 | 9am - 12:30; 1:30 - 5pm | Post Office | Angel Station Postal Cancellation -12th Annual (Friday, December 5) Angelica Booster Citizens will again sponsor the 11th Annual 'Angel Station' postal cancellation on Friday December 5, 2007, at the Angelica Post Office, 1 W. Main Street. Cards may be mailed to the office or dropped off prior to that Friday, for mailing on the day of the cancellation. Please separate in-town and out-of-town mail. Postal employees will be in the lobby to hand-cancel mail pieces brought in by customers on that day. Window hours are 9:00am to 12:30pm and 1:30pm to 5:00pm. The cancellation will be available for collecting for an additional 30 days following December 7th. Correct postage is necessary for collector's cancellations. 585-466-7689. |
| 3rd Annual Snow Ball Dance & Dinner | December 6 | 7 pm - ??? | American Legion 16 West Main Street | Third Annual Community SNOW BALLAs a way of saying thank you to the community for its support during the past year, the Angelica Area Merchants are hosting a Community Snow Ball on Saturday, Dec. __th. All community members and their families are welcome to attend. This free event will take place once again at the American Legion Hall, 16 W. Main St., and includes a potluck dinner this year. Dinner begins at 7:00 p.m. with punch and coffee provided by the Angelica Sweet Shop. The Legion will provide a cash bar for other beverages. DJ Stay-CEE will be spinning tunes all evening. | Santa at the Inn | December 21 | 1 - 4 pm | Angelica Inn B&B | SANTA at the INN Returns for the Fourth Year! (Sunday, December 16) Another way the Angelica Lions Club is adding to the spirit of the season is through its annual Santa at the Inn event, scheduled for 1 - 4 pm Sunday, Dec. 16th at the Angelica Inn Bed and Breakfast, 64 West Main St. Families with small children are encouraged to attend and bring a camera for pictures with Santa! Donations of unwrapped toys for the Toy Drive are also welcome. Refreshments will be served. This event is free and open to the public. For information, call 466-7875 or 466-3063. |
| Luminaries in the Park | December 21 | 5:30 PM | Park Circle; Methodist Church Lawn | Luminaries in the Park - LUMINARIES, LIVING NATIVITY, HOLIDAY DECORATING CONTEST Angelica's Park Circle and sections of the Main St. Historic District will be aglow with luminaries beginning at 5:00 pm on Sunday, Dec. 16th. This annual holiday tradition is sponsored by the Angelica Boosters Citizens, Inc. This year, area merchants are also participating to extend the beauty of the candlelit evening to a larger section of the historic village. Luminaries will light the park at 5:00 p.m. The Methodist church lawn will again be the setting for the living nativity, a reading of the Christmas story, and singing Christmas carols. Following the program, refreshments will be served in the Methodist Church Hall, and winners of the Boosters? Holiday Decorating Contest will be announced. For more details, please call 466-7935. |
