We have changed our calander to a two month/page format. The Angelica NY area calendar of events had become a very long page of events that this change was needed. This will allow you to print off only the months that you are interested in. We hope that this works well for you.

Art Exhibit May 7th 2009 and runs to August 9, 2009 Regular Business Hours Angelica Sweet Shop 44 West Main “Let it be Spring” …a new exhibit by Sarah Hoeppner The newest art exhibit at the Angelica Sweet Shop will showcase the stunning watercolor florals of Sarah Heoppner of Perry, NY. The show begins Thursday, May 7th 2009 and runs to August 9, 2009. Born and raised in western New York, Ms. Hoeppner has been an active artist for 25 years. She began her studies in handmade textiles at the Arts Council for Westchester County in White Plains, NY. Programs of study included spinning, natural dying, and weaving. Her traditional woven coverlet won numerous awards in the Westchester show. After returning to western New York, she pursued formal art training in the fine arts at Geneseo State, G.C.C , R.I.T and studied under LeVon Sheppard, Susan Webb Tregay, Nan Fiegl, and Dick Kane. She is a past executive board member of the Sea Serpent Art Guild and a member of the Batavia Society of Artists and the Arts Council for Wyoming County. Angelica Lavender Festival 2009 July 4 10 Park Circle Annual festival focused on Lavender. Lavender Festival 2009 Saturday, July 4th 10am - 4pm Angelica Park Circle Special lecture 11am: Sally Jean Cunningham, Author, Master Gardener and television personality (WIVB, Channel 4, Buffalo) The second annual Lavender Festival will be held Saturday, July 4th, in Angelica’s Park Circle from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m Author, Master Gardener, and television personality (WIVB, Channel 4, Buffalo) Sally Jean Cunningham is excited to participate again this year. You can dine with Sally on Friday, July 3rd at the Heritage Coffee House, and hear her lecture on Saturday, July 4th at 11am. Main St. - the future home of Black-Eyed Susan Acoustic Café - which is right down the street from the Angelica Sweet Shop. The Backsliders: Country-western and honky-tonk.
