$8.00 Admission ticket (age 3 and over) includes all exhibits, rides, grandstand and bleachers, except Friday night.

DAILY EVENTS INCLUDE: J & J Amusements on the Midway, Mini-Theater, Exhibits and Demonstrations in Blacksmith Shop (Tinsmith), Domestic Arts & Crafts, Farm Machinery- old & new, Firemen’s Building, 4-H, Shawmutt Railroad Display and Steam Engines.

All building displays open at 10:00 AM.

MIDWAY OPENS 1:00 PM DAILY.

From July 15-21, enjoy the Allegany County Fair on the fairgrounds in Angelica. They are located at the eastern end of the village just off I-86 at exit 31.

In the Domestic Building and the Antique Museum, there will be demonstrations at various times during the week. In the Milton Jennings Main Hall, there are many displays. The Pay-One-Price of $7.00 allows you to view everything on the grounds and all the entertainment at the grandstand, except the Friday evening shows, and unlimited rides at the J & J Midway. Reserved seat tickets for the grandstand shows Friday evening are available from June and Bill Ronalder, Main Street Gallery, Angelica, or by calling (585) 466-7453. The Fair has a pre-opening Family Vesper Service at 7:30 PM on Sunday July 15. This service is open to the public and there is no charge for admission to the grounds for the service. The dedication of the Fair and the Fair Book follows the vesper service.

The Official opening of the Fair will be at 9:00 AM Monday July 16 with the singing of the National Anthem. Many of the competitions begin at this time. The various buildings on the grounds open at 10:00 AM daily. The midway opens at 1:00 PM daily and the rides start with the completion of the NYS inspection on Monday. Monday is also Grange Day with special programs at the Mini Theater. That evening is the Tractor - Truck Super Action Pull plus Super Modified Two Wheel drive Trucks & Legal Local Trucks 7:30pm held on the track at the grandstand.

Tuesday, July 17, the competitions continue with the FFA Tractor Operators' contest. The Baby Show is at noon in the Mini Theater. At 1:00 PM, the Light Weight New York State Championship Horse Pull begins on the track. At 6:00 PM, the free-for-all horse pull begins.

Wednesday, July 18, there are various competitions in the livestock and cattle show rings. At noon, the popular Children's Pedal Tractor Pull begins on the blacktop near the Mini Theater. At 2:30, on the track, the Fair on Parade takes place. At 6:00 PM, the 4-H Youth Market Animal Sale starts in the Livestock Arena. Boys & Bulls Bull Riding Event starts at 7:30 at the grandstand.

Thursday, July 19, the Open Class Livestock Competitions start. The 4-H competitions continue in the various show rings and the 4-H building. A Draft Pony Pull at 1:30 PM at the grandstand. In the Horse Arena at 6:00 PM, there will be Open Team Penning. At 6:30 PM, at the grandstand, the Colgate Country Showdown with Chase Mitchell as Special Guest.

Friday, July 20, Open Horse Show starts at 8 am. The Draft Horse Hitch competition begins at 10:00 AM, in the Horse Arena. Chicken BBQ will be starting at 2:30 until 5:30 PM. Grandstand Shows: Country Star: Rodney Atkins opening act Tom Browl Comedian/Ventriloquist shows at 6:00 and 9:00 PM Tickets $30 includes Fair Admission if purchased prior to Friday at Noon!.

Saturday, July 21, the final day of the Allegany County Fair, the competitions conclude with the Farm Horse Team & Oxen competition on the track at 9:00 AM. Open Class Beef Show starts at 9:00 AM. Beginning at 11:00 in the Mini Theater, the local talent show starts. On the track in front of the grandstand, the Demolition Derby starts at 4:00. The Fair officially comes to a close at Midnight.
